Description

PEG (Succinimidyl Carboxymethyl Ester)2 with superior quality specification of ≥95% Substitution.

JenKem Technology’s PEG (Succinimidyl Carboxymethyl Ester)2 (SCM-PEG-SCM, NHS PEG NHS, PEG diNHS, or PEG diSCM) is a high quality amine reactive homofunctional PEG product with a stable non-degradable linker between the PEG polymeric chain and the NHS ester. The Succinimidyl Carboxymethyl Ester group reacts with the amine group of lysine(s) at room temperature at pH 7-8. JenKem Technology’s homobifunctional PEG derivatives have numerous applications as crosslinkers, including for PEGylation of proteins and peptides, nanoparticle and surface modifications. Conjugation with homobifunctional PEGs provides an increased drug load compared to pegylation using linear PEGs.

JenKem Technology offers PEG diSCM Ester with MW 2kDa (SCM-PEG2000-SCM), MW 3.5 kDa (SCM-PEG3500-SCM), MW 5kDa (SCM-PEG5000-SCM), MW 7.5kDa (SCM-PEG7500-SCM), in 1g and 5g packing sizes. Different MW of PEG diSCM homobifunctional products may be available by custom synthesis, please email us at tech@jenkemusa.com for details on custom PEGs. JenKem Technology provides repackaging services for an additional fee, please contact us if you require a different package size than our catalog selection.

Bulk PEGs and GMP grade PEGs are made-to-order. Please contact us for bulk pricing.
